What?

In order to promote the French savoir-faire in the US, the French Government bank, Bpifrance, asked us to work on a project called “French Touch”, which objective was to promote French fashion beauty and lifestyle brands - small and medium size businesses - to the buyers of a major American department store.

We were consulted to select the brands to introduce to the department store: edition of a catalog of 120 French brands of the moment, for the buyers who could not travel anymore in the times of Covid.

We also helped the 25 brands that were selected by the department store to pitch their company to the buyers.

Where and When?

Between Paris and New York, from November 2020 to March 2021.

Who?

Around 25 French small to mid size fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, helped by Bpifrance.

Objectives?

- Advise Bpifrance on the brands of the moment, and on how to formalize the projet with the American department store

- Help the brands get ready to pitch in front of the American buyers: speech, product assortment, multicultural do’s and don’ts…

- Stay by the side of each brand during the whole time of the project: from the individual coaching to the buyers’ meetings
